I'm a photographer / director, particularly interested in faces of people, who shoots compelling creative editorial portraits used by magazines, clients and advertisers. I live on the Upper West Side in NYC with my girl, Tess, and her pug named Emmy Lou Harris. Tess is a great photographer. Emmy Lou can't sing a note.
My pictures have been published on covers, on busses, on book jackets and in many magazines. They have festooned billboards glamming over I-95, been in ad campaigns and mounted on the walls of many happy clients.
I am a productive lead able to conceive and execute innovative and compelling projects while seamlessly managing cross-functional teams I am happy to provide or work with. I'm at home in highly structured environments or working one-on-one with independent creatives and I work well in photography, design, contemporary art, media, tech, and entertainment sectors. My portraits bring an insightful, unique perspective to your story.
I am well traveled- I've sailed around the world and have lived abroad, I've surfed some great breaks, been drug up a few first ascents on big walls- the best thing about all this is the friends and family with whom I did these things. All the while- throughout!- photography has been my elemental expressive force.
I enjoy directing big productions -and small- and I keep the job moving forward with inspiration, joy and creativity while always keeping an eye on the budget.
